OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
IGT Solutions is currently hiring for Software Engineer to join the Product Development team. Do you enjoy working in a constantly evolving and supportive environment? Are you passionate about creating, maintaining, and improving systems by writing diagnostic programs, designing and writing code for operating systems for an efficient outcome? Then this role is for you! Here you'll get to collaborate with expert system analysts and architects and make recommendations for future developments when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement integration solution that fulfils client needs. Ensure the product and the client solution is highly configurable and extensible. Work collaboratively with a core team of architects and developers spread across different locations. Research and build POCs using available frameworks to ensure feasibility. Create technical design documents and present the architectural details to a larger audience. Participate in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex technical solutions. Develop reusable frameworks/components and POCs to accelerate development on projects.
EXPERIENCE
• 2-4 years’ experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer. • Experience using common CMS products such as Django, WordPress, etc. • Experience with streaming technologies is a big plus (ex: FFMPEG, NGINX, Wowza, knowledge of codec and streaming protocols). • Experience writing code with Python, Node.js (Typescript preferred), Go, Rust, or similar languages. • Familiarity with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks. • Experience using container based technologies (docker, kubernetes) a plus.
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to work in a global and distributed environment with agility to hold communication with different audiences Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory standards and quality processes. Demonstrated communication and documentation skills. Must be able and flexible to work well under changing priorities in a high energy and demanding environment. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Goal oriented with strong sense of responsibility and team player.
