Module Lead

OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Module Lead with hands-on experience in Databricks, PySpark, ETL development, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. Experience with Azure Cloud, Python, and Power BI is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and processing using Databricks and PySpark.
• Develop efficient and reusable data models, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and performance.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure best practices for performance tuning and scalability.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified analytics environment on Azure.
• Collaborate with BI teams to enable meaningful insights through tools such as Power BI.
• Implement and maintain data governance, version control, and automation practices.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience: 6 to 9 Years

• Strong experience in Databricks and PySpark for data engineering and processing.
• Expertise in ETL development and data pipeline orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Data Factory).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

QUALIFICATION

• B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA with excellent academic record and should have relevant IT industry exposure. • Certifications in different technologies will be preferred. • Exposure to travel domain development is preferred.

ABILITIES

Good understanding of software technologies. Good understanding of object-oriented approach. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. Good knowledge of any database vendor versions. Good knowledge of standard development tools. Proficiency to use standard computing tools word processor, spreadsheet, browser, email, and file compression software. Ability to prepare reports and examine setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions
