OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Design and develop data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI.
- Create, enhance, and maintain dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI.
- Perform DAX queries and functions to build advanced analytical models.
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts for detailed data analysis.
- Work on migration of reports and dashboards from SSRS to Power BI.
- Implement technical enhancements to existing BI systems for improved functionality and performance.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization for queries and reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understand business requirements in the BI context
- Design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights using Power BI
- Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI
- Exposure to migration of reports and dashboard from SSRS to Power BI
- Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis
- Make technical changes to existing BI systems in order to enhance their functioning
- Strong query writing and performance tuning skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
EXPERIENCE
- Experience: - 6- 12 Years
- Shift Timing: - 3:30 pm to 12:30 AM IST
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong process flow and diagramming skills.
- Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expertise in business process analysis, system analysis and data analysis
- Very proficient in developing requirements definition, functional specifications, data models and business procedures
- Proficient in software fit analysis
- Expertise in MS Office, MS Project, Visio and other PC software
- Has advanced knowledge of audit principles through extensive experience.\
- Has strong understanding of the business processes in assigned areas to best implement policies and practices.
QUALIFICATION
- BE/B Tech
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- 5+ years Power BI experience
