OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support the development, deployment, and monitoring of our applications. Your work will ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), high system availability, and effective automation across our environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance using logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline the build and release processes.

  • Improve system reliability and performance through automation and proactive monitoring.

  • Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including code versioning, testing, and deployment standards.

  • Ensure security and compliance within the CI/CD and infrastructure processes.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role.

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and processes.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools and best practices.

  • Knowledge of networking and security principles in cloud environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

QUALIFICATION

  • Experience in high-availability and mission-critical environments.

  • Background in software development.

  • Experience with GitOps, service mesh technologies, or serverless architectures.
