Job Title: Vice President – IT Delivery

Location: [Gurgaon, Delhi, NCR (highly preffered)/Pune]

 

Role Summary:

The Vice President – Delivery will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and growth of multiple client accounts in the IT services domain. This role demands a strong leader who can drive service excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, optimize delivery efficiency, and contribute to account expansion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple accounts, ensuring project timelines, quality standards, and SLAs are consistently met.
  • Define and implement delivery models tailored to account size and customer needs.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across accounts.
  • Serve as an escalation point for delivery-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Establish governance frameworks and cadence for regular reviews (status, risk, finance).
  • Implement best practices to improve delivery efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Financial Management:
  • Own the P&L for assigned accounts, drive profitability, and control cost of delivery.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and invoicing cycles with precision.
  • People Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams across accounts.
  • Drive performance management, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Account Growth:
  • Collaborate with sales/account managers to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support in RFP/RFI responses and client presentations as needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA is preferred.
  • 18+ years of experience in IT services with at least 5 years in a senior delivery leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple small to mid-sized accounts with global delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing account-level P&L.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with clients in Travel, Transportation & Hospitality (preferred), BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing domains.
  • Exposure to automation, cloud transformation, or digital engineering programs.
