KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable Java applications.
- Utilize Java and the Spring Framework to build and enhance applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Work with Oracle databases to design efficient database schemas, write complex queries, and optimize performance.
- Implement unit testing using JUnit to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Perform code quality analysis using SonarQube to identify bugs, code smells, and technical debt.
- Conduct system administration tasks on Linux, including scripting, package management, and deployment via RPM packaging.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines, ensuring smooth and automated deployment processes.
- Use Git for version control, managing code changes and ensuring smooth collaboration with the development team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for all code, system configurations, and development processes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, challenges, and technical resolutions to the management team.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
EXPERIENCE
- Expertise in Java programming with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Oracle databases, including database design, writing queries, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit for unit testing and SonarQube for code quality analysis.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration, scripting (e.g., Bash), and RPM package management.
- Experience with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of Git for version control, branching strategies, and collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and system configurations.
- Provide consistent updates and reports on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
