OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
Play Write Automation Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright. This role requires a strong understanding of automation frameworks, web application testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code. Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools. Implement best practices for automation, including reusable test scripts and maintainable code. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability. Troubleshoot test failures and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Provide training and support to team members on Playwright and testing best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-8+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2-3 years using Playwright. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or any other programming languages for writing Playwright test scripts. Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs). Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in testing mobile web applications using Playwright. Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment. Behavioral Aspects: Highly Introvert and top notch communication skills. Confidence, assertive in handling the customer interactions A thought leader, who can identify gaps, suggest improvements, and pull up sleeves to make the changes happen. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze/understand business challenges and recommend appropriate IT solutions and services, develop current and future business processes, determine interface requirements, and resolve any issues that cross multiple systems or areas which may affect the business process. Analyze/understand all data and information required for new business processes. Provide business process redesign analysis to support business changes and technology opportunities. Facilitate new business process and data requirements gathering, and resolve issues that may cross multiple systems that may affect the business process. Conduct fit gap
Analysis for software package evaluations.
2. Convert business requirements into functional requirements, specifications, data models and test cases, Develop detailed functional specifications documents that can be used by the technical analysts to develop technical specifications; Develop detailed Use Case scenarios and specifications.
Work with technical analysts to develop technical specifications for the features and functions defined in the requirements document. Assist the users in developing their user or business procedures.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting.
CPA designation or non-US equivalent (e.g. CCA) is required.
