OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional who can perform a hybrid role of Business Analyst (BA) and Quality Analyst (QA) with strong expertise in the airline domain. This role requires hands-on experience in airline booking flows, loyalty programs, ancillary services,  passenger service systems (PSS) and Sabre experience combined with strong skills in requirement analysis, functional testing, and client collaboration. Candidate should be able to lead QA team and enhance product quality on various environments.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Key Responsibilities

  • Functional testing while analyzing business requirements from airline clients.
  • Understand requirements and prepare end to end test functional test cases.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to ensure requirement clarity.
  • Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for airline applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing.
  • Validate airline applications.
  • Execute defect management: log, track, and ensure closure in coordination with developers.
  • Provide detailed QA sign-off before releases.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Sabre GDS, Sabre experience/Native tool
  • Strong knowledge of airline domain:
    • Passenger Service Systems (PSS)
    • Booking & Ticketing flows
    • Loyalty programs (FFP/One World/Alliances)
    • Ancillaries & merchandising
  • Proven track record as QA (test design, execution, defect management).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Browserstack, Automation tools,Postman.
