OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer – Module Lead with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and production-grade environments. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps modules, mentor team members, and work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the DevOps module, ensuring timely delivery and operational excellence.

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and environments.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

  • Manage and optimize cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure for high availability and performance.

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to enable DevSecOps best practices.

  • Manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms.

  • Oversee release management, deployment strategies, and rollback mechanisms.

  • Ensure system security, compliance, and vulnerability management.

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement preventive measures.

  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance.

  • Participate in architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

CI/CD & Automation

  • Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines

  • Shell scripting (Bash), Python (preferred)

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one cloud platform)

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation

  • Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

Containers & Orchestration

  • Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/OpenShift/Tanzu)

  • Helm, Kustomize

Monitoring & Logging

  • Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor

Version Control & Collaboration

  • Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket

  • Jira, Confluence

Security & DevSecOps

  • Secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)

  • Static & Dynamic security scanning

  • Role-based access control (RBAC)

 

QUALIFICATION

• B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA with excellent academic record and should have relevant IT industry exposure. • Certifications in different technologies will be preferred. • Exposure to travel domain development is preferred.

ABILITIES

Good understanding of software technologies. Good understanding of object-oriented approach. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. Good knowledge of any database vendor versions. Good knowledge of standard development tools. Proficiency to use standard computing tools word processor, spreadsheet, browser, email, and file compression software. Utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
