Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead monthly payroll processing and month-end financial closing activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare detailed MIS reports and present findings to senior management in monthly performance reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to HR compliance regulations, including labor law requirements.
  • Monitor updates to payroll and HR compliance laws, updating internal policies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including timekeeping, benefits, and tax data.
  • Coordinate across Finance and HR departments for seamless payroll and compliance operations.
  • Provide timely and professional resolution of employee payroll inquiries.
  • Submit regular compliance and payroll reports to management.
  • Supervise and guide team members, managing their performance and development.
  • Perform variance analysis to compare actuals with budgets and provide actionable insights.
  • Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Implement financial controls as recommended by auditors to strengthen compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare and post monthly accrual entries for accurate financial representation.
  • Conduct daily team huddles to monitor activities and track progress.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments after ledger verification.
  • Record necessary journal entries to maintain accurate financial statements.
  • Oversee accruals and prepayment of expenses, ensuring correct financial reporting.
