Job Title: Consultant – Operational Research & CPLEX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Consultant with strong expertise in Operational Research techniques and hands-on experience with IBM CPLEX Optimizer. The role involves designing, modeling, and solving complex optimization problems to support business decision-making across domains such as supply chain, travel, logistics, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mathematical optimization models (LP, MIP, QP).

  • Apply OR techniques to solve real-world business problems.

  • Build and deploy models using IBM CPLEX (Python/Java/OPL).

  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into optimization models.

  • Analyze and interpret results, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Operational Research / Optimization methods (linear programming, integer programming, network flows).

  • Hands-on experience with IBM CPLEX (docplex, CPLEX APIs, or OPL).

  • Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or C++.

  • Experience in modeling real-world problems in domains such as supply chain, airline, or workforce scheduling.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to other solvers (Gurobi, SCIP).

  • Knowledge of data science or machine learning techniques.

  • Experience in travel, transportation, or logistics industries.
