OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
IGT Solutions is looking for Associate Project Manager (PM), who will play a key role to embrace an effective enterprise and business architecture/capability modelling approach, leading the responsibility to mature enterprise architecture practice, by driving business capability solutions and innovation. In this role, focus will be from people, process, and technology perspective – including adoption of innovative processes, new capability and technology introduction. Support IT’s transformational journey, alignment between business and IT strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define project pacing and obtain incremental benefits before the program is completed by working closely with Product Owners, Architects and Engineers. • Communicate strategies with Project Managers by prioritizing, planning and executing the development schedule for major product release across multiple business units, driving financials and other KPIs. Ensure that individual project goals align with company's strategy. • Coordinate development resources, maintain dependency plans and monitor performance across resource channels. Improve efficiencies in critical and program resources by avoiding duplication of efforts between program and project management. Perform hands on reviews of Product backlog, Architectural Design, Code Risk Business models, Test Scripts and validate results. • Align the deliverables to the program outcome with the aid of the Business Change Manager. Manage risk, issue and take corrective measurements. • Manage and utilize resources across projects and manage stakeholder's communication. • Assist Scrum Team and the Product Owner in achieving the release goals and follow Agile practices. Plan and estimate meeting, Story Point estimation and collaborate with the Scrum Master in planning. Initiate the solution architecture governance activities such as Technology Due Care and Vulnerability Threat Assessment. Lead and Drive the innovation Group meetings and prototype on selected ideas to provide value add to the client.
EXPERIENCE
6-8 years’ experience in the following: • Information Systems/Technology, Project Management Office processes (portfolio, program, project) and Agile Project Management • Working understanding of Agile Scrum, XP, Kanban/Scrumban, and Lean practices and tools (JIRA / TFS or similar work management tools) • Use of collaboration tools (Confluence / MS Teams or similar), SharePoint and configuring sites • Working in a multi-functional setting with Offshore and Onshore resources • Strong facilitation, consensus building, conflict resolution, negotiation and leadership skills
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in one of the following: Computer Science Information Technology Business Information Systems Management Studies Preferred Master’s degree Formal certification in Project management methodology highly preferred
