OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing ETL solutions while ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of the data ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into robust data models.
• Create and optimize star schemas, hierarchies, dimensions, measures, and subject areas for reporting and analytics.
• Perform performance tuning, partitioning strategies, and advanced PL/SQL optimizations.
• Manage and optimize Oracle database components, including materialized views and query plans.
• Review and create detailed ETL design specifications and mapping documents.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and quality.
• Support and enhance large-scale data warehouse systems to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with BI teams using tools like Power BI or Tableau for reporting and analytics.
EXPERIENCE
• Strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ETL architecture.
• In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in Advanced PL/SQL, performance tuning, and partitioning strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database management (materialized views, explain plans, etc.).
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Good understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), data modeling principles, and data federation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in ETL development with Oracle Data Integrator.
